If your Plant's security cameras are not working. Please refer to the troubleshooting checklist below to restore system functionality.  


Quick Camera Check List

  1. Check that all devices are powered on.  Their LED lights should be illuminated or blinking.  If you observe no light, inspect the power cable connected to the unit.


2. Confirm all network cables are securely attached.  The "WAN" port connects to the internet router and the "CamLAN" port connects to the switch.

3. Power cycle the PoE switch by temporarily removing the power cord for 5 seconds.  Wait 5 minutes for the camera feed to return.

4. Last Resort: Power cycle the bridge by temporarily removing the power cord for 5 seconds. Wait 5-10 minutes for the camera feed to return.

5. If the above solution doesn't resolve the issue, open a support ticket.


Plant Camera System Troubleshooting

Overview

Eagle Eye Bridge

-Bridge device will either be the 304 model (Black) or 304+ model (Blue).

-Verify that the device is properly connected to power.

-The WAN port should be connected to either the main plant switch or ISP router.

-The CamLAN port should be connected to the Uplink port of the Eagle Eye PoE Switch.

Eagle Eye PoE Switch

-The Uplink (5) port of the switch should be connected to the CamLAN port of the bridge, and the link lights should be blinking on both devices.

-The cameras in the plant should be connected to the PoE (1-4) ports on the switch and the link lights should be blinking.



Troubleshooting Steps

1) Verify all devices have power. The Network link lights should be blinking.

2) Verify that all network cables are securely connected to each port as identified above.

3) Power cycle the PoE switch by removing the power cord temporarily for 5 seconds. Wait 5 minutes for the camera feed to return.

4) **Last Resort** Power cycle the bridge by temporarily removing the power cord for 5 seconds. Wait 5-10 minutes for the camera feed to return.

5) Open a support ticket with the Service Desk.
